Website and Newsletter Automation
(gentle nudging + encouragement included)
Keep those who love your art in the loop with a current website and a consistent newsletter, so that they can continue to see your evolving work and you can finally feel like you're doing "enough" marketing in the time it takes you to answer five questions (even if you dread your digital marketing chores, or you hate tech).
Five local artists. Six months. Me by your side.
You are invited to be one of the first five artists I take through the complete Website + Newsletter Stewardship process, creating a marketing rhythm you will be proud of.
Five founding spots · $500 setup + $97/month for six months
You feel your website needs a bit of love, it doesn't quite represent the art you create…
You're actively making work — showing it at markets, exhibitions, galleries, restaurants or commissions, or you're getting ready to start. People are beginning to take notice, and asking where they can see more.
But when you imagine sending someone to your website, so that they can continue to follow your work, do they see the work you love to produce? Feel your personality? Understand the inspiration of your creativity?
Or is your website neglected? or nonexistent? Does your newsletter writing keep falling to the bottom of your to-do list? Ummmm… we need to talk.
I'm Nora Ureste. I love art and being around artists — hearing what's changing, what's next. I've spent a lot of time listening to artists talk about the business side of things, and one thing stands out: you already know you should update your website or send a newsletter — the hard part isn't knowing what to do, it's actually doing it. That's the gap WIP Drip's website and newsletter stewardship fills — less learning about what you should be doing, more actually getting it done.
WIP — work in progress. Your practice keeps changing; your digital presence can too.
DRIP — Dripping Springs, and connection over time. You don't need a firehose of content. A steady drip is enough to keep people following along.
You already know there's a hundred things you could be doing. Knowing doesn't create the time or energy to do it — that's the real problem. I'd rather help you choose a few things that matter and make sure they actually happen.
Your website and email list belong to you — my job is to help you tend them. We start with a simple digital home, then keep it current as your work grows.
A one-page website built once, then kept current every month — new work, sales, shows, bio updates. You'll never have to think, I really need to update that.
A monthly note from your studio to the world. Tell me what's happening — I'll shape it into a newsletter, get your approval, and send it. Personal enough to feel like you.
The first connection doesn't have to be the last. Someone sees your work at a market, a gallery, an opening — or online. That connection matters. But what happens next? That's where stewardship comes in — I help you take the people that love your work on a journey.
If we continue working together beyond the founding period, once a year we'll take a wider look at things — your work, your website, your bio, your communication, where your practice seems to be heading. We'll ask a simple question: does this still feel like you? Then we'll decide what still fits and what deserves some attention.
This is one of the most important parts of my services: I come to you. At the beginning of every month, you'll get an email and text from me asking what's happening in your art world.
Tell me what's happening — new work, sold work, exhibitions, markets, something you're experimenting with. Your updates are due by the end of the first week.
I'll make that month's updates to your website and prepare your newsletter. You'll review it and we'll make any needed changes during our review window.
Once you've approved your newsletter, it goes out on Thursday. Then — you keep going. Back to the studio, back to the work. Next month, I'll come knocking again.
You don't need to be a full-time artist, or have hundreds of subscribers — just work you're ready to share. Your commitment to the Website and Newsletter Stewardship process will keep your website current and you connected with the people who love your work.
This probably isn't the right fit if…
Five local artists. Six months. Let's build this together.
WIP Drip Studio is new. And I want to be straightforward about that. The Founding Five will be the first five artists I take through this complete Website + Newsletter Stewardship process. I've built websites for my own businesses, and I have a plan for how this service will work — but I also know I'm going to learn things by actually doing it alongside five real artists. No pretending I've done this for hundreds of artists. I haven't. That's why you're a founding artist.
I'll bring the structure, website setup, technical follow-through and monthly rhythm. You'll bring your art, your participation and your honest feedback. Over six months, I'll pay attention to what's genuinely useful, what feels clunky and what we can make better. That's also why the Founding Five receive a significantly reduced introductory rate — I'm asking you to take a chance on something new, and you're getting a much lower rate for helping me make it better. And if you're genuinely happy with what we create together, I may ask for permission to share your experience. That feels like a fair trade to me.
WIP Drip Studio — Website + Newsletter Stewardship
for six months, + $500 initial setup
Total six-month founding commitment: $1,082
That $97 monthly rate is intentionally low because you're helping me build and refine this new service. After your six-month founding period, there's no obligation to continue. If you do want to keep going, your ongoing Founding Member rate will be $157/month. The planned standard stewardship rate for future clients will be $750 setup + $185/month. No surprise pricing at month seven.
APPLY FOR THE FOUNDING FIVEYour next collector, fan or friend might meet you anywhere — a market, an exhibition, online, or somewhere neither of us could predict. When they want to see more, give them somewhere to go: a website you're proud to share, and a reason to keep coming back.
If you're interested in being one of the Founding Five artists to work with me, tell me a little about you and your work. I'll review your application, and if it looks like we might be a good fit, we'll have a conversation before either of us commits to anything.
